Have a great day!
I got the cutest pattern the other day and had to try it out. I think this is the cutest and most functional grocery bag I’ve made yet. It’s big enough to fit on the bag holders they use when they bag your groceries, but it holds more than a plastic bag. The handles are reinforced so you can load up the bag and not worry about over stuffing it. Did I mention that it was cute?! I must go make some more of these – quickly! If you want to perk up your grocery shopping, I will happily make some for you, too.
I had this cute basket here that our cat loved to sleep in. He’s happy in any basket, so I took it from him, gave him another, and cleaned off the million cat hairs that had stuck to it.
I decided I wanted to use this basket in our awesome new van that will be here in less than 2 weeks. :) (but who’s counting, right?!?!)
I made a liner for it……
And then I filled it with all sorts of stuff in anticipation of Hope’s arrival…….
I finished up another dress for Kali the other day. She’s now in less danger of having to go naked due to lack of clothing in her closet. :) I have another one halfway cut out, but I’m not sure how fast I’m going to get that one done. :)
Yes, I realize that it’s totally wrinkled. Don’t worry, I fixed that! I swear I own an iron. I just wanted to get these pictures before she took off with the dress.
Kali has decided that she doesn’t like shorts anymore. Well, more specifically, denim shorts. At all. She prefers dresses, so I figured I better make her some more.
First dress done.
There’s strap that will tie and rest on her shoulders. I promise it won’t just be floating on her or staying up with duct tape! This dress reminds me of Minnie Mouse. :) Perfect.
I think I’ll make a few more just like this (well, different fabrics, of course!). She loves these and that makes me happy.
My new basket needed a little basket to go with it. I have no clue what’s going to go in it, but I’ll figure something out.
Okay, after I made a basket for the girls yesterday, I decided I needed one, too. I left off the handle and made it shorter and wider. This one is going on my desk to hold all those dang cords that I have laying around. You know you have them, too…..the iPod cord, the camera cord, the Garmin cord, the other camera cord, the phone charger, etc. etc.
